Club Rules


AYC Marina Rules

1.

No Dogs Allowed.

      2.

 

The main road gate shall be left as you found it, because the land is used as a horse pasture.  The club entrance chain will be locked by the last member leaving the club.

3.

Take your trash & recycles home with you.

     

      4.

 

members are expected to take an active part in maintaining the grounds:
a) Mowing the lawn & Watering the lawn
b) Cleaning the PARKING AREAS, grounds and beach of trash
c) Cleaning the cabin & picnic tables
d)  Raise and lower the flags morning and night

e) participate and document THEIR w.i.p. hours IN W.I.P. LOG BOOK

      5.

Open fires on the beach are confined to the fire pit.

      6.

 

Camping for limited periods is permitted for active members and individual race competitors.  no extended camping, without prior ayc board approval.

7.

Camper or RV's are not to be left at the club when not in use.

8.

 

The turn-around space at the top of boat ramp is to be kept clearED - no vehicle/trailer parking.

9.

Empty boat trailers must be left in the uppermost club lot, OR TAKEN HOME.

    10.

 

All boat not currently in use must be stored in the uppermost parking area or by direction of the Dockmaster.

11.

 

 

Boat slips and mooring buoys will be reserved for the entire season for the use of the member paying rent on them. SLIP/MOORING Assignments will be at the dISCRETION of the Dockmaster.

12.

 

 

 

All boats must have current year registration and proper numbers displayed on the boat and current liability insurance, prior to launch.  The primary boat of all members shall be a sailboat. Second boats may not BE MOTORIZED and shall not occupy dock space. The exception being rescue boats, committee boats and tenders.

    13.

The Club Rescue Boat(s) ARE to be used for rescue or authorized club work only.

14.

Guests to the club must be accompanied by members at all times.

15.

 

No business or service club private parties are allowed on club property.  members will provide no business or services on club property, without prior ayc board approval.

 

 

16.

 

No boat should be tied on the south (lake side) of the main docks or on the ramp side of the rigging dock-unless approved by the dockmaster.

17.

 

The rigging dock is to be used for short-term tie up of member boats and long-term tie up of the Rescue Boat(s).

18.

 

The use of motor bikes, scooter and similar vehicles is not permitted for recreational use on club property.                                                                                                                               revised: .03.15.2011
